Thor Mining returns high grade gold samples from stream sediment sampling in the Pilbara
Thor Mining PLC (LON:THR)(ASX: THR) has recovered high grade gold in stream sediment samples taken from the Pilbara Goldfield Ragged Range project in Western Australia.
Among the highlights were grades of higher than two grams per tonne.
The company’s third phase of stream sediment sampling has now defined four distinct clusters of consistently high-grade gold.
“These are very exciting times for Thor at Ragged Range, as this project continues to exceed expectations,” said Thor’s chairman Mick Billing.
“A number of very promising drill targets appear destined for testing, and we expect that the interpretation of the airborne magnetic survey results – near completion – should confirm several of these.”
The shares rose 3% on the news to 1p.
