Hillcrest Petroleum Ltd (CVE:HRH) (OTCMKTS:HLRTF) (FRA:7HI) announced Tuesday that it has signed a Memorandum of Intent (MOI) with ANIGO Technologies Inc, outlining a licensed technology transfer arrangement through which the firms plan to jointly develop new intellectual property based on ANIGO’s proven electric machine control technology software. The Vancouver-based company said the resulting new IP will incorporate ANIGO’s existing IP and is expected to provide a “substantial platform” for future IP to be developed by Hillcrest directed at new clean energy applications. Any new IP or technology developed will be owned by Hillcrest. The move is aimed at allowing Hillcrest to create potentially disruptive clean energy solutions for electricity generation, storage and use.
Pacific Empire Minerals Corp (CVE:PEMC) (OTCQB:PEMSF), the prospect generator, has updated on this year’s exploration at its Worldstock, Weedon and Jean Marie projects in British Columbia, where at the latter flagship, the potential for gold-enriched copper mineralization was confirmed. BTU Metals also reported the discovery of a new prospective western gold zone, which it says is supported by both till results and grab samples. The company noted that gold-in-till results continue coming in from across the SW-NE geological and structural trend, most of which are concentrated along an 8 km x 5 km area, with increased sample density beginning to allow for vectoring towards bedrock drill targets.
CO2 GRO Inc (CVE:GROW) (OTCQB:BLONF) (FRA:4021) announced Tuesday that it has sold a CO2 Delivery Solutions commercial installation to a British Columbia based smaller licensed cultivator for medical cannabis. GROW said the CO2 Delivery Solutions system was purchased based on its plant science data and testimonials from other customers currently using the technology. It was the second-such order. The Toronto-based company noted that it has established considerable success with micro and smaller cannabis and hemp cultivators across Canada and the US growers who operate cultivation facilities under 10,000 square feet of canopy. Whether indoor or smaller hoop and greenhouses, all benefit from CO2 Delivery Solution with up to 30% yield enhancement and pathogen perimeter protection while realizing significant CO2 cost savings compared to atmospheric CO2 gassing, GROW said.
American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC), announced Tuesday that its subsidiary American Rare Earth LLC has entered into a joint venture to develop and commercialize critical element and graphene technologies. In a statement, the company said the JV has been formed with Gerardine Botte, a Texas Tech University professor and the Whitacre Department Chair in Chemical Engineering, to develop technologies from carbon-based deposits under the newly established and jointly controlled limited liability company, Advanced Carbon Materials LLC (ACM). Additionally, the company has appointed Botte to its board as an independent director. American Rare Earth will own a 49% equity interest and 95% revenue interest in the ACM. American Resources said ACM will focus on developing new technologies for both critical elements (rare earth elements) and graphene production to bring domestic production to the electrification marketplace, including the needs of the Department of Energy, Department of Defense and electric vehicle production.

Mandalay Resources Corporation (TSE:MND) (OTCQB:MNDJF) revealed positive drill results from the Aurora target at its Björkdal gold mine in Sweden that highlighted the open plunge extension and an emerging new high-grade area. The Canadian miner said Tuesday that extension drilling at Aurora returned results of 4.8 grams per ton (g/t) gold over around 2.5 metres in one hole and 2.7 g/t gold over 2.8 metres in another, indicating the plunge extent of Aurora is still open at depth. Definition drilling to the east also revealed results of 8.1 g/t gold over a true width of 3 metres and 3 g/t gold over 3.5 metres.

ElectraMeccanica Vehicles Corp (NASDAQ:SOLO) is positioned to develop a backlog of orders for its SOLO electric vehicle, according to analysts at Roth Capital Markets, which raised its price target for the company’s stock to $12.50 from $7.50 and reiterated its Buy rating in a note published Monday. Roth views the three-wheeled electric vehicle as a contender for fast food and other product deliveries. Commercial deliveries of the SOLO are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2021.
