Shanta Gold Ltd’s (LON:SHG) Eric Zurrin talks to Proactive London’s Katie Pilbeam after starting construction of the Singida Gold Mining Project in central Tanzania.
It will increase Shanta’s group production to 110,000 ounces in the first full year of operation and have average annual underlying earnings (EBITDA) of $27mln. Speaking about the size of the resource mine, Zurrin explains that to Londoners it is the equivalent to walking from Bank to Westminster.
Zurrin says the reserves are 120m down – which as he says ‘is not very deep in terms of the mining world’.
